Author visits BGS students

Excitement buzzed through the halls of Broken Ground School today as the wonderfully witty author of the 13-Story Treehouse series, Andy Griffiths, paid a special visit to our students and staff!  Known for his incredibly imaginative and laugh-out-loud books, Mr. Griffiths shared insights into his creative process and his newest book, captivating the young audience with his engaging storytelling.

The interactive assembly was filled with smiles, giggles, and cheers as Mr. Griffiths shared anecdotes and answered enthusiastic questions from our curious students.  He even shared some silly secrets behind his wildly popular treehouse adventures, sparking even more imagination in our young readers.  It was clear that his playful spirit and love for storytelling truly resonated with everyone in the room.

After the presentation, the fun continued in the BGS - Susan Lauze library, where a long line of eager students waited patiently to have their books signed by the talented author.  Mr. Griffiths took the time to chat with each child, making the moment extra special for our BGS bookworms.

A special thank you goes to our very own BGS Reading Specialist, Jane Dodson, for her hard work and dedication in organizing this fun and literacy-focused presentation.  Her efforts made this memorable experience possible for our students.  This visit will undoubtedly encourage a continued love of reading and writing among our students.
